Gone West Memorial Film Options
The Montage
A collection of treasured photos from your loved one’s life, set to 3 songs of your choice and organized chronologically. Perfect as a watchable centerpiece of a memorial or celebration, or can work on a loop in the background without sound. Final film will be 5-7 minutes.
The Short Film
(For former/current Gone West clients)
A beautifully edited short film about your loved one that uses choice soundbites from their Gone West Interview to craft a mini story about their life in their own words. This film includes music, titles, transitions, photos, old videos, archival content, and a dedication page. This is a wonderful, watchable film to show at a funeral, memorial, shiva, or celebration of life, and to share virtually with loved ones. Final film will be 5-7 minutes.
The Short Film with Family/Friends Interviews
This film includes a 1 day shoot with 4-5 sit down interviews with your loved one’s dearest friends and family members (interviews could alternatively be on zoom if in-person is not an option). Selected soundbites will be woven into a beautifully edited short film about your loved one. This film includes music, titles, transitions, photos, old videos, archival content, and a dedication page. This is a wonderful, watchable film to show at a funeral, memorial, shiva, or celebration of life, and to share virtually with loved ones. Final film will be 5-7 minutes.
